Military Personel Get in Free for Arkansas Exhibition Game Thursday

 FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In honor of Veterans Day, all past and present military personnel will be granted free admission to the University of Arkansas men’s basketball exhibition game against Victory University on Thursday, Nov. 11.

            Military personnel wishing to take advantage of this offer will need to present their military ID at the ticket window on the south side of Bud Walton Arena.

            “We want to take the opportunity to share a small token of our appreciation with all the men and women who have served and protected our country as part of our armed forces,” Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Jeff Long said. “Whether they are serving currently or have done so in the past, we are grateful for their sacrifice and their commitment to all of us and our great nation.”

            The Arkansas-Victory basketball game is set for a 7 p.m. start and is the second and final exhibition contest for the Razorback men’s basketball team.  Arkansas defeated LeMoyne-Owen College, 101-60, in its first preseason game.

            Tickets for Arkansas’ game on Thursday night may be purchased at the Razorback Ticket Office or at the south ticket window at Bud Walton Arena on Thursday.
